When a user account is created in Moderan, a link to set your password is automatically sent to your email. If you forget your password, want to change it, or encounter login issues, follow the instructions below.



Forgot Your Password?


NB! If you have separate server, make sure the first part of your address is correct. It might be https://XXX.moderan.net/login

  • Click on the Forgot Password


  • Enter the email address associated with your Moderan account and click RECOVER:


  • Check your inbox for a recovery link.


NB! The recovery link expires after 24 hours. If it has expired, please repeat the process from the beginning.


When you click on the password recovery link, a new page will open in your browser. There you will be asked to enter a new password. Write the new password in the corresponding field and Save it.

Now you can log in with the new password and continue using Moderan.


Password Requirements:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one digit



Didn’t Receive the Password Reset Email?


If you don’t see the recovery email:

  • Make sure the email address was entered correctly.

  • Check your Spam or Junk folder.


If you're still unable to find the email:

  • Repeat the recovery process

  • If the problem persists, contact Moderan support



Want to Change Your Password?


You can change your password either while logged out or logged in.


Option 1 – While Logged Out:


Use the same steps described above, in the Forgot password case.



Option 2 – While Logged In:

  • Click the Settings icon in the top right corner and select Change Password


  • Enter your current password, then type your new password and click on the Change Password


NB! Your new password must meet the same requirements listed above:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least one uppercase letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one digit



Exceeded Maximum Login Attempts?


If you've entered the wrong password 10 times, your old password will be locked for security reasons. You'll receive an error message informing you that the maximum number of login attempts has been reached. 


To restore access - follow the instructions in the Forgot Your Password? section above to reset your password.
